Last Request !!!Very Important this affects YOU!!!
Hi once again.
Unfortunately, due to the disappointing response to my last post, I will have to shut down the site due to lack of funds.
I am quite prepared to spend the time keeping the site running but I just cannot spend the amount of money needed. I am on a state pension and run the site on my own so I hope you can understand the problem I have.
The site relies on donations to keep the site up and running. The end of the year is costly as most of my yearly payments come at this time.
If there is a response to this final appeal I will keep the site going as long as I can.
regards
Scorpio

Re: Last Request !!!Very Important this affects YOU!!!
Personally speaking this site offers so very much and you are the only one doing all the work. My view is that folks who use the site should help out with the costs involved in the shows they come here to enjoy. After all your not asking for the moon, just what one can afford to share. Every little bit helps and can be used to keep the site up and running.
For those who have never run a website you may not realize just how much expense is involved and most of the cost to cover these costs are out of the pocket of the owner. When one retires so does their finances. Which means the sites owner MUST depend on the grace and kindness of its members to help defray said costs. If not that valuable resource site will be lost for good.
At this point you have to ask your self a question. Can you find the amount of material anywhere else on the web? I'm not talking about 1 or 2 shows, but the huge library that is found here. If your answer is no, than to keep it available to enjoy, you should donate to keep in in place.

Thanks for the input tatergator
My aim for the site has migrated from sharing new stuff plus some old, to trying to keep alive all the old series so that they are not lost forever.

Hi Scorpio I echo everything that tatergator said but I like you am on tight financial belt I am on that new uk Benefit called Universal Credit which is a nightmare and I struggle to keep my internet bill paid every month that's why I always appreciate you so much if I was working I could donate with no problem so It is frustrating there are users probably in a good financial footing who could help but don't so you will always have my support but until my situation changes I cannot help financially sorry
So please people if you can help please do keep this Great Gentleman's site going.
Thanks again Scorpio

I would like to thank all of you who have given so generously to my appeal for donations.
As the target is almost reached, I will definitely continue with my work on the site.
So it is your help that has kept the site alive
Thank you once again
Enjoy the site

Is it too late to send a donation and if it isn't where/how do I send it?
I have only just seen this post, my husband died just before Christmas following a slow decline in his health. Finances have only just been sorted out and I think the end of the "probate tunnel" is in site.
