Closing Down

After much deliberation, I have decided to stop uploading to 1club4all.

This is mainly due to the fact that Filefactory has stopped paying affiliate fees so that my major source of income for mainaining the site has now stopped

I have been doing this for over 10 years on various sites, and feel it is time for me to stop.I do not really enjoy it any more and it has become a chore rather than a relaxing pasttime.

I still have a few shows to complete i.e. The Bill which I will carry on with for now

but I will not be uploading any new stuff.

I will try to replace broken links if I can.

I might even finish the latest series so that they are all complete for their current seasons.

Finally I am not getting any younger, 74 this year

I am sorry to let you guys down, but I really have lost enthusiasm for doing this

I will keep the site active until xmas when my payment for my website hosting and Domain names become due.

Will be sorry to see you go but know how much you have given to the community over the years and I, for one, am very grateful I seem to remember you from as far back as a site where someone used to smoke dope..or do I mean a dope who smoked?

I have 10,000 M2 of garden including a duck pond, 12 ducks, 14 chickens, 6 cats, 2 dogs and a veggie plot, so I think I have enough to get on with

Scorpio ... you will be terribly missed and so fondly remembered for all your hard work and all that you have given us over the years. It's understandable how one can get burned out after many years. But please note that I'm sure that we all wish you a good rest which is much deserved but that we all sure hope that you will come back to us one day. I look forward to that day as I'm sure many of us here do.

Like all regular posters, we all go through these doldrums. I can fully empathise with you.
The length of your contribution, and countless hour upon hour, shows just how generous you are.

I can also understand your consternation with FF.
Just last night I tried extending my premium account through the FF website.
It rejected my MasterCard.
Went through a reseller, and like my previous attempt getting it to accept vouchers, it rejected also.
(You know what I'm talking about!!)
All this combined with non-payment of affiliate fees, I can't see FF hanging around much longer.

Members need to be reminded that 30 days after your premium accounts end, all files are automatically removed.
So it's a case of getting while you can!

A heartfelt thanks scorpio for bringing so much pleasure to so many.

I'm going to really miss this site and you! It's a shame that after all these years FF is treating you like crap.
You are going to to be sorely missed.
